If you are travelling to Hvar by a car, depending on the direction (Austria, Slovenia, Hungary) you need to go through Zagreb to Split or Drvenik by main Croatian highway A1, or along the Croatian coast from Rijeka to Split or Drvenik. From Split you can take car ferry to Stari Grad on Hvar (105 minutes), or from Drvenik (south of Makarska) to Sućuraj on Hvar island (20 minutes). We suggest you to take the ferry from Split to Stari Grad and from there follow the Pitve – Zavala – Ivan Dolac road. You will be climbing untill reaching the Pitve tunnel. After crossing the tunnel follow the road to Ivan Dolac. After 15 minutes drive, when you see the first houses in the distance, you will see the sign Ivan Dolac and Mandalina Apartments and you will have to turn left here on the macadam road which will take you directly to Mandalina apartments. Unfortunately there are no GPS instruction, but feel free to call us if you need any help with directions.
